After the first kick-ass volume of this series， I had high expectations for the second。 Thankfully， it does not disappoint。 The second volume contains great battles， some imaginative paneling， and great humor。 While I love the humor and the battles， the pacing is weaker than the first volume。 Hammerhead and the House of Evolution chapters are not especially interesting， but Speed o Sound Sonic's introduction in the Hammerhead chapters definitely saved that short segment。 I was hard on the manga After the first kick-ass volume of this series， I had high expectations for the second。 Thankfully， it does not disappoint。 The second volume contains great battles， some imaginative paneling， and great humor。 While I love the humor and the battles， the pacing is weaker than the first volume。 Hammerhead and the House of Evolution chapters are not especially interesting， but Speed o Sound Sonic's introduction in the Hammerhead chapters definitely saved that short segment。 I was hard on the manga artist for his relatively uninteresting style in the last volume。 Upon reflection， however， I am incredibly impressed by his amazing skill with motion and fight scenes。 I am exited to see what he does in the next volume！ 。。。more
